Brooklyn Film Festival
Brand Identity & Guideline
Founded in the heart of Brooklyn’s creative underground, the Brooklyn Film Festival was built to champion bold, independent voices from across the globe.

After years of growth, renewed artistic direction, and a commitment to global inclusion, BFF stepped forward with a revitalized identity—amplifying its mission to showcase diverse storytelling and film making independency.

Brooklyn Film Festival reflects the raw energy, cultural richness, and unapologetic spirit. Bridging the local and the global, the festival grounds its identity in a dynamic interplay of grit and
vision—centering stories that are as socially resonant as they are artistically fearless. BFF tries to empower underrepresented creators, sparks dialogue across communities, and builds a future where cinema drives global connection and cultural innovation.

I led the rebranding of the Brooklyn Film Festival as part of my Junior branding coursework. The rebrand introduces a design language shaped by Brooklyn’s creative grit—expressed through a grid structure, urban-inspired color palette, and a flexible system built to scale across platforms.

Visual that brings stories to the surface

A deliberate effort was made to define an art direction that centers on the emotional core of independent cinema—highlighting raw, authentic moments and elevating underrepresented voices.

Instead of polished stills or staged glamour, the focus shifts to intimate frames, cultural texture, and lived experience, inviting the audience not just to watch, but to feel.
